We laid Charlie Busbice to rest yesterday, age 75. Fine fiddle player & a fine gentleman as well. Buzz Busby was his brother as is Wayne Busbice of Florida. Charlie lived for many years in the Dallas area before moving to Lindale in Northeast Texas.

He was always a pleasure to be with & was quite an inspiration to both me & my son. He will be greatly missed by all that had the to privilege know him.

Dale...Thanks for the info about Charlie, I`ll pass it along to some friends in the D.C. area that might have played some bluegrass with him...I knew Buzz real well but never met Charlie myself...Willie

I found out abour Buzz Busby's music through his neice Kate. He was a great musician. I'll wager his brother was just as good. Wish I could have heard him.

Better to celebrate the life than grieve the death!
