    Default New Fender Mando-Strat

    Fender announces the Mando-Strat, a new version of the 50's-60's mandocaster. I believe the price range is going to be right around $399.99, leading me to believe it will not be an american made instrument. Anybody get their hands on one yet? What can you tell us? Anybody have a mandocaster and know how they compare? Exciting times for the electric mandolinist.

    For the look and price this is a good deal. Like acoustic mandolins a good set up is important. I have a J.L. Smith electric mandolin and enjoy plugging in sometimes.
    Great for training the ear hear notes and tunes.
