I'd want to explore getting a Henderson mandolin. Any idea about how to contact him for prices and availability?

Availability will the big question. How old are you?
I got around to reading "Clapton's Guitar" over the summer and realize that Mr. Henderson builds on his own schedule and his estimated delivery dates may not have anything to do with reality. Eric Clapton waited over 10 years for his Henderson 000. On the positive side, you should have "plenty" of time to save up for the purchase. BTW - He apparently does not build many mandolins although I hear that the few he has built are very good.

If my sources are correct, Wayne has made about 580 guitars and about 120 mandolins (give or take 10 or so). His fiddles are much more rare as are the few banjos and ukuleles.

Well. What do you know : a Wayne Henderson F5 just popped up on the classified. Problem solved
FWIW- I bought a vintage Martin from Jim Ketterman, the gentleman selling the Henderson mandolin. Jim is a long time friend of Wayne's and also a very nice gentleman. I would not hesitate to buy an expensive instrument from him.
It doesn't matter . . . I'm going to WINFIELD!!!!!
