I just finished up my daughter's A4 piccolo mandolin (w/Virzi). I thought that I'd share with you all. It turned out pretty cool. Molly's only 5 months old, but she loves her mandolin.

Here are a few more with Molly.
Okay... Last ones. Some detail shots.
Wonderful photos - if there were a prize for picture of the year these would get my vote. Thanks for posting and making me smile.
Brilliant! Start 'em young I say
So when does Molly get to do her first youtube performance... about another month should get her up to speed on that one?
Wow, how cool...Molly is very lucky to have you for a Dad!
That's great! She looks really excited!

What is it about Molly's playing style that made her want to choose a Virzi instrument?
Mike you are certainly talented! I would love to know how it sounds. Ever thought of an F5 Piccolo? It looks like Molly has noticed your D strings are not quite 440 in your first pic.
Nice.

Sweet-it doesn't get much better than that!

Here's a video of Molly's A4 Piccolo that a friend of mine, Rick Faris who is the mandolin player for Special Consensus, just noodling around on.
I saw this post a couple of days ago and just now got a chance to write how very much I love this pair of mandolins. You and daughter are going to have a awesome relationship. Thanks for sharing such a wonderful moment.
