    Default Deluxe Mooncaster 5-String Kit

My kit arrived the other day and I'm looking forward to sharing the build with the Cafe community. In a nutshell, I ordered the Deluxe Mooncaster 5-string. The upgrades I got are: curly maple neck, ebony fretboard, tortoise pick guard, through body string mounting, tortoise binding and curly maple top and back plate.
I'll be starting with the binding channels and experimenting on maple scraps to figure out my finish. But for now, here are a few pictures.

Tabla, it looks like a terrific kit. How mush was yours, if I can ask?

Well, I added a bunch of upgrades so mine was around $600. The more basic kits start around $325.
You can check them out here http://www.moongazermusic.com
Also, if you click on the picture of the kit it will open a new page that shows the customization options.

The neck finishing is coming along. Used a few coats of super blonde shellac and about 5 coats of amber before switching back to blonde. I was able to get the binding on and have started the final sanding on the body.

What is the fifth string's pitch, if I may ask? I assume it's on the low side?
