Which of the luthiers here will be the first to make one. I'd like mine to be distressed a little please.

When we are all gone and the machines take over the world this is how they will carry on the musical traditions that we are celebrating here in this forum.
no clip on tuners anywhere!
Reminds me of the creature in the Alien movies.
I think some of those videos are cool, but that one creeps me out. But it is nice to know that when the Robot Overlords take control they'll still be putting needless points and scrolls on their instruments.

That sounds suspiciously like a MIDI file. Anybody else hear it that way?

Funny--I also thought "Alien." I can't figure out why. Except maybe "Kill me!"
I note, by the way, that there's not an "F" style in the bunch. Just sayin.
This is truly amazing!!!! Creepy or not........I love it!!!!

I've been building instruments for nearly 30 years and I've never done a digital animation, but even with that head start on building the real thing, I'll take the challenge of the animation as the easier path!
Oh, and digital distressing? Digital Virzi? Piece of cake!

It's animated and it's midi.
I think it plagiarized a "Journey" song
(besides...it's robotic accordians that are taking over the world)
