    Default Mi-Si pickup/preamp

Anyone tried the Mi-Si pickup or preamp yet? I just installed one in a mandola and it sounds great...but best part is ..it has an active preamp built into jack that uses no battery...it uses a super capacitor to store charge which lasts about 16 hours on a 60 second charge...the one I used is actually for guitar...under saddle... so I made a one piece maple bridge for it...but they make one for a stick-on piezo also ...or you can retro-fit their preamp to you existing pickup...can't wait to try it with a K&K twin internal. here is a photo of the Manndola..and a sound clip of it with Mi-Si only straight to board

Hey, that sounds really good. Thanks for the heads up on it. Looks like you can get them at Elderly. Scroll down on the link. That means I wouldn't have to drag my Radial ToneBone PZ-Pre around. Might be worth checking into.
