I'm headed up to visit my folks who live up in Sturgeon Bay in Door County, WI this summer. Anyone know of a beginner jam I can go to?

Also interested in perusing any cool music stores or finding a luthier to strike up a conversation with. Any up there on the peninsula? Green Bay is not too far out of the way.

This may help you search. The mod. from the Yahoo group did not know of any organized jams in Door County but check you messages for a contact. I did find a monthly jam in Appleton on the last Sunday of the month which may fit in your travel plans.

I have a cabin on Sturgeon Bay..in Michigan… "just across the Lake"... I'll be there this summer. How loud can you play?

LMax, I'll go to the Coast Guard station and find a high point. Look for a fat guy with a tiny guitar swinging from the top of a pine tree.
