Of course I was kidding in my earlier post. And I like what I have listened to so far. I am having a problem, however, with the download - eight of the tracks did not come through as mp3 files - including, ironically enough, #22 - Painful Struggling. I thought I could solve this by adding an extension, but my computer is not allowing me to do that. Apparently Windows Media Player will open them individually, but I want to have the whole album with the tracks in order, so I can let the music flow. I would appreciate tips from anyone as to how to correct this. I am including a screen shot of the folder showing the files - in track listing order, by the way.

That is strange it is not working. You could just try it again (it is free after all). Or email me and I can send the nonfunctioning tracks to you.

And just so you know, "Painful Struggling" is a bonus track; only the first 18 pieces are the album as "envisioned."

Hi. I did try it again, with the same results. I mentioned Painful Struggling for humorous content value (in a manner of speaking), but as the screen shot shows a bonus track did come through, and a few regular album tracks did not. Very Odd. I am going to delete the whole thing and start over. Wish me luck!

I had a problem, too. On the first try I got an error message trying to extract track #11 so I skipped that one. I downloaded again, and this time got error messages trying to extract both #8 and #11. I followed the instructions on the Bandcamp page but still don't have #11. Given that we now know about problems with three different tracks within a single ZIP file it looks like some sort of problem with the Bandcamp download routine. (If it were a problem in the ZIP file, then everybody should have problems with the same track(s)).

Sorry to hear about the bandcamp issues. I just tried it myself and they all came in fine (except out of order). Strange.

In the meantime, it is worth thinking of Bela Bartok being 131 years old and watching this amazing version of the Pizzicato Movement of the 4th String Quartet.
