Been batting around the idea of an electric and these seem to be a pretty good price, but can't find any "reputable" dealers selling them.
Anyone have any info, opinions, etc...?

Janet Davis lists 'em, and they're Cafe sponsors . . . NFI
FYI they also make a 6-string version with the same scale-length at the same price, so you could string it up as a 5 string with some extra room for bending strings,m

Can anyone attest to the set up from Janet Davis? I have never ordered from them so I don't know what I would expect.
I found one at my local music store and like it much better than the Epiphone. The only thing I don't like is the pickup,I have to run it through a preamp, and the e string is still weak.Would be much better with a mando pickup from Almuse.com
I would say that the upgraded pickup from Pete at Almuse is essential for this mandolin. It made a huge improvement to the sound and made the mandolin a lot more fun to play. Thanks again Pete.
