    It is Luke Thompson...from there at Baton Rouge La. Worked hard for Blue Grass Music around there for years.Built mandolins,still does,I reckon....built "Thumper"..the mandolin Buck White played for years.....

    That's Luke for sure and what appears to be an original mid 20's Gibson Fern F5. I know Luke had a 1924 H5 Fern Loar mandola and converted into an F5 but I didn't know he owned an original Fern F5. Looks like a photo from the mid 50's.
