Default A quick bit of fun

This was one of those "Play Mate" guitars. I didn't actually measure the scale length but its certainly under 20". These are never a good guitar unless tuned up to A which make it impractical for conventional guitar lessons. Now its an electric mandola.

    C/C (Split Octave 0.016/0.36W), G/G (Split Octave 0.010/0.22W), D/D (0.016/0.016), A/A (0.009/0.009)

The redeeming factors here are. It has a trussrod. It didn't cost me anything except time and strings, It plays really well. I think the pictures explain everything. It might occur to some that the pole pieces of the pickup are out of alignment but honestly it doesn't matter. Fender has used 6 pole strat guitar pickups for a number of their entry level basses by just putting a cover over the pickups without polepiece holes. I've got some of those somewhere. I don't know if I'm going to do anything more to this. It plays great. I did add a .030 compensation shelf to the nut slot on the C-Strings that addressed a tendency for the first four frets to be sharp.
