    Default Kelly Lancaster

    Hey Cafe Goers -

Some of you may know Kelly Lancaster. He's a great picker that lives, performs and teaches in the Houston area. Last weekend he was admitted to Methodist Hospital in Houston, this week we found out he has stage 4 Pancreatic Cancer. A benefit concert is in the works, in the meantime a fund to help with medical expenses has been established by the Bay Area Bluegrass Association. Any help will be greatly appreciated. You may contribute via paypal, mail to Prosperity Bank (address below), or by going to any one of 175 Prosperity Bank locations. This FundRazr click-thru links to PayPal.

I've known Kelly since the mid 90's and he a sweet wonderful person and one heck of a musician. I was very sad when I learned of this last week and am planning to contribute. I moved from Houston about eight years ago and really miss the people I picked with out there including Kelly and Dave Peters.

I started another thread before I saw this one. It has a re-post of Chris Hirsh's FB announcement along with links to donate if you feel inclined.
