'Overhead At Darrington' by Bruce Harvie and The Sandfleas

This is the latest from Bruce Harvie (Spruce on the Cafe) and The Sandfleas. As Bruce describes it, "this is a recording project of fiddle tunes arranged for surf-style electric mandolin"...And it is brilliant.

Wait till you hear this! 'Doheny Ridge' & 'Dora's Dream' are personal favorites, but everything here is excellent. Fun, smart, rowdy, and sophisticated e-mando playing throughout!

I just found a thread started earlier today about this over in General Mandolin Discussions forum.
Bruce talks a little bit about the album over there, and has posted pics of the e-mando he plays on it.
    Sorry for the duplication.

OK, just got another 200 freebie downloads over at Bandcamp, so "Overhead At Darrington" is now a free stocking stuffer for all you folks on the Cafe...
    Happy Solstice....!
