    Default needing info on a swan mandolin who made it , is it any good

    what can anyone tell me about this mandolin, thinking of doing a purchase of one. looks many years old but still in good shape

    If it's this one, it is one of these. They were imported into the US under dozens maybe hundreds of brand names. WE have a member that started out with one and liked it, they really weren't anything to write home about.

    yes Mike I am bidding on the one on ebay. I couldn't find any info on-line about Swan .The tag on back of the head looks to be in french thats why I was asking about it.

    The tag appears to identify a music store (retailer) in France. I'm sure they had nothing to do with the manufacturer other than buying from their distributor.
