Information on The Loar Lm-590-VS

I found this listing online for a Lm 590-VS. The seller is reliable, but I have never heard of a 590-VS before. After a google search, the headstock decal and rear bracing resemble the The Loar's lower-end Grassroots series, but I cannot find a grassroots series 590 anywhere. Does anyone have information on what this Mandolin Might be? I doubt it's a fake, just want to figure out what model it is before pulling the trigger.
I know that the Grassroots Series has laminate backs and sides. My main concern is figuring out if this one does or not.

I had this 590MS for a while. I imagine your variant is very similar.
It was a great starter mandolin, but I sold it on in order to get a Kentucky KM-1000B.

My perception was that the 590 model has always been all solid wood construction, just more modestly appointed than the 520 one.
