Amina Alaoui on NPR.
Amina Alaoui is a Spanish singer who blends old and new sounds of North African art music. There's flamenco, and Fado music on the disc including arrangements of mandolin, oud and guitar. The music is pretty interesting too. You can hear the story, and two songs here.
New music on my wish list. Hope you enjoy.
