    Default Troy Alexander octave mandolin

I was given this abandoned octave mandolin. The label inside says it was made by Troy Alexander from PA, in 1982. I'm curious to know if anybody's seen or owned other instruments from this maker.

iought this, or it's close cousin. without bridge, tuners, strings or tailpiece. it was under $200, and for $90, plus some spare parts(I collect spare parts) it's now playable. great sound. still needs some set up work.
