Hello, I recently bought Sol Goichberg’s 35 Progressive Mandolin Etudes. I started working on it by myself without a teacher, and I have some doubts. Can anyone help me?

In the first 2 studies, what speed (in BPMs) should be considered satisfactory?
In the 3rd study, I can’t understand the fingering. In the first bar, the notes D, E and F# are supposed to be played with the 3rd finger. It seems impossible for me. Is it wrong ?

    Thanks for your attention.

I would take the first two at a comfortable tempo, say quarter note = 60bpm (eighth note = 120).

In the third exercise you are misreading the triplet mark for a fingering.
