    Hello

Visit John Paul Jones official website. There`s a short message of how he was motivated to restrung his instruments in order to record a new album after visiting a mandolin festival in France.
I`m eager to hear the album.

    Good luck!

I have attended both the festival AND the master classes with Mike and Hamilton and I can tell you how great it is, despite than *@çù%x&#(' weather which is normally great at that time of the year but thankfully, it's all indoor. Definitely a place to be.
Just because you can, doesn't mean you should!

John Paul Jones played mandolin at last year's Merlefest. He played mostly with John Cowan's band.

At the symosium he played an octive mando with Grisman on one tune. He had it tuned as a bouzuki(sp) The pairs in octives. It was nothing to write home about.
