    Default Tricone resonator system

Does anyone know of a source of both the tricones and T bar - the engine of the tricone resonator guitar?

A luthier friend of mine is keen to try an experiment.

    thanks

    Hi Kevin,
I've just made a wood-bodied short-scale tricone tenor guitar using parts from Busker Guitars in Wales: robin@buskerguitars.co.uk. The parts were reasonably priced and good quality.
I'm delighted with the result, which has become my main instrument and would like to send you a photo but I'm afraid I don't know how to do it on this site. If you're interested, you could PM me your e-mail address and I'll send you a photo by e-mail.
    best regards,

    Dean

The Resophonic Outfitters department at Beard Guitars should have everything you need...

You might want to try Don Young at National Resophonic in San Luis Obispo, CA. I've bought a few sets of the spiral pattern stamped aluminum tricones from Don, they're identical to the orginals. I believe they also sell the orangewood bridge and aluminum alloy support.
