I played a whole slew of Webers, Eastmans, Breedlove's and a Mowry with a neck like half a telephone pole at Sylvan Music in Santa Cruz. Freakin' Webers were out of this world. Of course, I played guitar first, so I'm defective from the get go. However, the Webers had such nice mid range and were just so easy to play. Wow, a revelation. The Eastmans were much brighter, janglier, and might I say probably more traditional for Bluegrass. My favoite was a new Bitterroot F style. About $2K...and worth every penny might I say.
