    Default Guitars4Troops

This is a link to a story on NPR this morning about an organization that sends guitars and musical supplies to troops in Afghanistan. One of the people who got got involved in donating guitars is quoted in the story as saying, "I know how important it is for me to play the guitar every day. I can't imagine being deployed overseas and not having your guitar." It's easy to imagine how having a guitar would make a difference for a soldier far from home.

From time to time, we have some folks who chime in from Afghanistan and Iraq and I know I enjoy reading their posts.

Didn't Charlie Daniels also do something like this a few years back? In any case, it's a wonderful thing that guitars4troops is doing.
