    Default Hennis mandolin on Ebay

NFI but thought this looked like a decent price to get into a luthier made f-model.

It reminds me a bit of my Glenn with no binding.

His first few eBay mandos looked pretty crude but they appear to be getting closer to the F5 aesthetic.

I am somewhat amazed at these inexpensive F style mandlolins. here's another that Allen posted a few days ago. This guy is at $650.00 assuming the prices on his website are correct.

I've got one of those Hennis F's off Ebay, and I can't give it away. Been consigned in two different stores for a third of what I gave, and nobody wants it. I learn the hard, expensive way.....mine was one of the crude ones.

I love that amber two-point on his gallery page -- pretty impressive for a mandolin that starts at $550 USD!

    Me too, Jim.
I've also been very impressed by my correspondences with Mike.
Oh, and he's greatly refined his F-style peghead design. Here's his new peghead designs for his F-Styles and for his 2-Pointers (though he's happy to put the scroll on a 2-Pointer if the customer prefers):

    That's some high praise...
