I dunno about best, but the Modern Mandolin Quartet's Nutcracker is excellent for me.

I don't know that I have heard enough to declare these the best, but during the holidays I love listening to David Grisman's Christmas album, and I really enjoy the Wyatt Rice and Rickie Simpkins Christmas album.
