Very classy and well done.
Hereby & forthwith, any instrument with an odd number of strings shall be considered broken. With regard to mix levels, usually the best approach is treating the mandolin the same as a cowbell.
Your website reflects the good sound of your instruments. Nice job.
While I´m at it, you say on your website that you´re revamping the building proces concerning efficiency. That had me wondering about how your instruments/your building process changed from lets say 2000 up to now. Could you elaborate please?
Olaf
Very well done. Congrats.
Hi Paul:
Congratulations on the new website, it's fantastic! The gallery of finished mandolins is really something to behold!
I had the honor and pleasure of recently playing Rebecca Lovell's F5. It is, without question, the best sounding and playing mandolin I have yet encountered on my still short mandolin journey.
It will likely be the 'gold standard' by which I'll judge all other mandolins I hear or play.

Hi Paul- love your site, love my Duff. Aside from carefully and by hand, how do you cut your logo inlay? Blows me away!
A fine looking web site Paul.
Thanks for building great mandolins.
Cheers!
Hi Olaf
The 'revamping' I mentioned is mainly to do with reorganising space in my workshop and using that space more effectively. I'm trying to creat more defined 'work stations' I suppose. This way you can leave a space set up for a particular process. I am also going to be incorporating a pin router into my building and I'll be streamling a few tasks with that.

Great to hear you got a hold of the 2005 one piece back and thanks for your kind words! All the folks at Gruhns are wonderful people and they really know their mandolins. It's been a real treat to have my instruments in the shop. I was able to visit some with them during IBMA and that was a lot of fun.

Great website Paul.

I am proud to be a Duff owner and player.
