Oh man, they look great! That "Red Fern" is stunning.

Your problem is, you think you have enough time.
You're killing me man!
If my M.A.S. was going to start up again this would do it.
2015 Chevy Silverado
2 bottles of Knob Creek bourbon
1953 modified Kay string bass named "Bambi"
I'm digging the one in the middle with the big block inlay and the torch and wire. Sweet.

I think they call this a "clownburst" in the world of Les Pauls:
Been waiting to see this all wired up:
Orcas Island Tonewoods
Free downloads of my mandolin CDs:
"Mandolin Graffiti"
"Mangler Of Bluegrass"
"Overhead At Darrington"
"Electric Mandolin Graffiti"
Some major league eye candy there. Thanks for posting them Chip.
Nice pics, but nicer mandolins, I'm sure. I second the Torch & Wire! Gotta find the thread for mandolins that I've lusted after...
Wow! That is some serious eye candy!
The headstock sort of reminds me of a Nugget?
Beautiful birds-eye!
How do they sound?

Scott, the Torch and Wire design was created by Gibson a long time ago, and has used by many builders since, including Nugget:
I just have to say that these are some amazing sounding instruments. When I played them they had only been strung for a day at the most, and already they were full, rich, and harmonically active. I was particularly fond of the tone of the Red Fern but would be very happy to call any of them my own. I can only imagine how much better they will sound after being womped on at IBMA all week.
