    Nice pics, but nicer mandolins, I'm sure. I second the Torch & Wire! Gotta find the thread for mandolins that I've lusted after...

    Scott, the Torch and Wire design was created by Gibson a long time ago, and has used by many builders since, including Nugget:

    I just have to say that these are some amazing sounding instruments. When I played them they had only been strung for a day at the most, and already they were full, rich, and harmonically active. I was particularly fond of the tone of the Red Fern but would be very happy to call any of them my own. I can only imagine how much better they will sound after being womped on at IBMA all week.
