Hey Don Stiernberg, Who were you playing BG with in Deerfield?

Friend of mine emails me that he heard a BG band at the Deerfield Farmers MKT and Don S was the mando player. Sure wish I'd known as I'd love to hear you play BG. How can we get a head's up on these misc appearances....wasn't on your website. And who were you playing with? Heard the female singer was very good. BTW, your Long Grove gig was great as is your new CD I bought there. Thanks

That singer was Karen Jordan, who specializes in children's music. We weren't playing any bluegrass that morning. Some of my gigs fall into the cracks as far as my website goes, sorry...especially ones that come up quickly for me. Thanks for coming to Long Grove and melting with us--I've lived here all my life and can't remember a hotter August. As Jethro would say..."I seen a cow layin' on her back, givin' herself a shower. I have a couple things coming up in town in September, and one I'm excited about also is Nov.5 at Nichols Concert Hall in Evanston
