I called Elderly instruments and they said 900.00... Anyone else have an idea about this?

I have a Locke octave mandolin, no. L-014, made in 1996 -- 'looks like a Sobell clone with carved cedar top and rosewood back and sides. I bought from Elderly about 13 years ago for about $900, so $900 for a mando TODAY sounds reasonable, if it's a carved top like my OM. Is it Mark Locke or Jim Locke -- I can't remember? I have tried to sell mine though, but didn't get much call, so resale may not be that high for an unknown builder. Good quality instrument though.
    Too many instruments...too little time
