    Triple-tortoise binding on my Clark F5 #27. It was a cost upgrade, but very well worth it.

    Kawlija , my wooden headed banjo uke , got bound around that edge with Tortoise Binding.

    of a general's from Epaulet stars . tried for nickel , but nickels are mostly copper now.

    O man! I dont know which I like better: tortoise shell binding on a blond mando or the triple white/tort/white binding on a dark mando...both look awesome. Thanks for posting those pics (dang, I sure love looking at beautiful mandolins.......)

    For those of you admiring Geoff's work on the Triple iii, it is even more stunning when you hold the mandolin. Geoff was great to work with during the construction and really has a passion for his craft. It sounds better than it looks; for an instrument that is about 1 1/2 years old it is loud and gets more complex every time it is played. It's a pleasure to own that particular instrument. Dan
