Sounds for like a workshop to me than a school. When I think of bluegrass school I thing of the program at ESTU or the bluegrass program at Berkley.

1st annual? $10.00? Whatchu gonna lern for ten dollas? LOL!

But hey might be some fun jamming! And $10 is right up my alley CHEAP! LOL!
I'd go if it was closer!

Ten bucks? Not much to lose. Even if you pick something up from the picker sitting next to you instead of from the teacher, you're likely to come out ahead!

I'd go just for the experience & to meet the other player(s),with whom you might be able to set up your own regular 'jam' session,
    Ivan
    Weber F-5 'Fern'.
    Lebeda F-5 "Special".
    Stelling Bellflower BANJO
    Tokai - 'Tele-alike'.
    Ellis DeLuxe "A" style.

    I predict they'll have 41 students there...

    20 guitar players

19 guitar players that switched to mandolin because there are so many guitar players

1 guy with an open back tenor banjo that's just sure he can make it work for bluegrass

    ..... and a spoons player!

    Sumi SF5 Birdseye
