    Default Baglama Saz Building (Bowlback)

Check out this Turkish video. I checked and it looks like all these guys still have all their fingers tho they seem to get pretty close to those power tools. Made me a little nervous, but I hope it is interesting for some. it looks like there should be a finishing installment but i have to look on the full page of videos.

Awsome. Thats about the pace I've been working at in my shot lately, although the room in which my sanded instruments are waiting to be finished is slightly less filled....

Just found this bowl back building video from Eastman - rather more relaxed this time!

Tavy, good contrast with the Turks. Man, it looks like it would take a day or so just to build out the bowl for one of those. You would think that they would have the ribs all measured and cut precisely.

Anyone else having trouble with the subtitles? Must be in Canadian or something....

they sure work fast, very practiced and precise movement!

albeit somewhat lacking in quality control. Eyeballing the neck angles was a little too efficient for me.

Here are a few shots of my basket case saz. I like the ethnic newspaper lining.
