What are you talking about? Listing of Gilchrists? Listing of F5s that we all know? I'm confused.

Are you looking for something like the Mandolin Archive specifically for Gilchrist's?
Huh?
JFDilmando,
Right above your post it has the section title
Builders and Repair
and then it goes on to say
"Discussions for those with an interest in the construction and repair of mandolin family instruments."
I just point this out because you might want to repost in the General Mandolin Discussions or the Looking for Information About Mandolins area.
You also might want to be a bit clearer on what it is you are looking for.
Bill Snyder
Gruhn also is listing two for sale at their site.
The O.P's original post is a bit vague, but i think he means a listing of all The F-5 Gilchrists that have been made to date,as Mark intimates,a ''Gilchrist Mandolin archive'' - Just as a personal enquiry,is there such a thing ?,
Ivan
Weber F-5 'Fern'.
Lebeda F-5 "Special".
Stelling Bellflower BANJO
Tokai - 'Tele-alike'.
Ellis DeLuxe "A" style.
A sometimes poster, Mark Daly, kas kept up with things Gilchrist, he may have an archive. And the builder hisownself would surely maintain one.
yes ... I ws referring to a Gilchrist mandolin archive.... I came across one some time ago, and haven't been able to locate it ...
sorry that I was not clear, and caused confusion... I will check elsewhere.... thanks
