Default Sound Clips of my Band

We recorded these tracks earlier this week. The first two are Choros followed by a Dawg tune and a Bill Monroe number. I would love some feedback, tips, comments, etc

    Cool... thanks for sharing

Now someone tell me, what song does Watson's Blues sound like?

A little like Body and Soul and Blue Lonesome Blue?

Wow, I really like those choro tunes. I already play Cochichando, but Biruta is on my list now. Very beautiful tune and your playing is splendid. Did you play these on the Collings MT or do you have a Bandolim? If its the MT it sounds surprisingly authentic, I think.

Thanks for the compliments! Yes the mandolin is my MT, it has a very bright sound like the bandolim. Maybe someday I'll get a bandolim if my wife lets me

I bought two books from choromusic.com that have about 20 Jacob do Bandolim tunes in standard notation. The books also come with play-along CDs . Lots of really cool music in them

Monroe wrote Watson's Blues... I heard it off the Monroe and Watson live album... Nice job with the tremolo... I like all that stuff at the link... Is that with the MT?

I used my MT for these tracks-great little mandolin especially for the price, ~$2000 new. There are two other versions of Watson's Blues that are also really good: one is on Doc & Dawg and the other is on Tone Poems Vol. 1.
    Thanks for listening!

Thank you for sharing your music. I particularly liked Biruta & will try to insinuate it into the tunes my pickin' buddies play. We are just starting to play some choros and this one would be a great addition. Nice clean playing and excellent choice of tunes! Congrats!
