While spending a little too much time on the internets again, I came across this link http://portland.craigslist.org/mlt/msg/1127389454.html It's a few days old. Did a quick google and it seems to be widely distributed.

Scam. The seller will send you an email saying he's stationed with the military in Italy and will have to complete the transaction through eBay, blah blah.

There's a very good young player from Central California (forget his name) who formerly played an F5G and now plays a Lewis; the F5G was listed on eBay a while back, and the scammer borrowed some images/text from the eBay ad.

Interesting.
I sold my Weber signed Gibson F5G here on the Cafe after purchasing a Michael Lewis. I think it was in September of 2004, and in my ad I mentioned the Lewis.

This guy has scattered ads all over ebay. The signed F5, a Weber, and a ton of others. They ALL have a buy it now price of $1,100. An obvious scam. Here's a link to the signed F5.

UPDATE: In the 30 seconds that I was typing this, all of the seller's ads were removed....Problem solved.
