    I had some requests from friends for some pics of my last mando. I finally took the pics. I made this mandolin for me. It has a German Spruce top and some wonderfully flamed maple. This one is a keeper! I hope you all enjoy the pics

    I love the color and the wood!
    If F-model mandolins have F-holes then why don't A-model mandolins have A-holes???

    Sweet! What color dies/stain did you use - as long as you wouldn't have to shoot me if you told me.

    Thanks for all the kind words! I use color-tone stain. Vintage amber for the base stain and then tobacco brown. I went for a 60's Gibson light sunburst.
