    Default Mando Clock

I just started playing mandolin a few weeks ago and just realized the wall clock that has been in my music room is based on a Weber Fern. I don't even remember where I bought it but it sure was a reality check now that I'm playing mandolin.

OK, here's a picture of a MandoClock. Not the one that Dave mentioned, but the one that hovers over my back while I do mando repairs, build reso. guitars, and build those Happy Little Traveler Mandolins....

How's the tone? Is the "tick" pretty balanced with the "tock"?

Way cool clock you have there.

A quick google pulled up this mandolin clock, although it is a piece of plastic as opposed to Dave's wood soundboard, back, and sides.

I wish I could remember where I bought it. You would think Weber would have had some involvement with copyright laws and all. Funny thing is that I wasn't even thinking Mando's back then ! I will try and post a picture tomorrow.

Doug Edwards sells a variety of hand-crafted mandolin-related equipment and accessories - incuding mandolin clocks. Check out his SITE - and the clocks can be found HERE. (NFI)

That is a sweet-looking Weber mandolin clock though!
