    Default Gaze@moon???Deja Vue 5 string Kit..opinions

    Hello...new here,
I'm more of a fiddler, but am interested in a 5 string electric mandolin.
Saw the Deja Vue kits at Moongazer,or is it Gaze@moon??.
Just wondering if anyone had any feedback on the quality & sound.
Tom said he'd sell me a neck...I might like to try building the rest myself..
I just made a 5 string 'lecy fiddle.
But Ifn you've played or made one..I'd like to hear your opinion.
Tom seems like a very decent guy, and for the price it seem like a good deal if you are at all handy, & they sound/play good.
anyone else that will sell a BOLT on 5 string neck fretted n ready to go..or other kits???
    Thanks all

The Deja Vu4 and Deja Vu5 are my new offerings.
The Deja Vu4 was released the first week of February,
and the Deja Vu5 the first week of March.
(I still need to add the options for the Deja Vu5)

Feedback on new models takes time. I have had one builder of a Mojolin 5 kit shock me with a pic of his painted and assembled kit the day after he received it.

But it seams like most kit builders take more time.
Weeks or sometimes months before completion.

The feedback I get has been overwhemingly postive
of the quality and the sound of their compleated kits.

    Questions are always welcome.

Hi there Tom .When tax refund comes I'll by at least a 5 string neck.
Kerry: ...Its not to save money, just that I enjoy messing around with wood & making the rest would be fun, & then it'll have a bit of me in it....I'm pretty sure I can make a cool looking body & have it ready for a good neck.
But the the fretting/fingerboard seems like a job best left to the experts
    cheers

Rodger, the fingerboard is not something to be made by the 'faint of heart'. The 1st 5 or 6 that almost anyone makes end up in the garbage. Good answer by the way...KK...

Tom -- I love the new Deja Vu body shape, and I just forwarded its URL to my wife for adding to my standing wish list, which already included your 8-string model.

BTW, were I to send you a Rick-style toaster pickup, could you route an 8-string kit for it?
