    For anyone interested:

He has decided to remake the triple neck guitar using what he knows now about guitar building vs 36 years ago! Very interesting May be up for sale in the end, who knows! I'd expect around 6,000-7,000 pounds (roughly $10,000). Not entirely sure though, I know his acoustics go for around 3,500-4,500 pounds

Andy Manson - who makes extremely fine guitars, mandolins and other fretted instruments - is now based in Crediton in Devon, a short distance north of his former workshop. Here's a link to his website which includes up to date contact details:

I really like the earthy look of it! Can you put a tight shot of that head and the tail piece? Both look interesting!

If you think you can or think you can't... you're likely right!

Hi Kip - my daughter took the photos - she's a professional photographer - and I'm sure she took one of the headstock. I'll get hold of a copy and post it.

He probably doesn't know, but maybe his guitar tech could answer that question?
Come to think of it, I'd like to have one myself.

Heyup, Richard - well, it looks like you got a keeper there, lad! You should hand on to that mando, too.

It'll be fascinating watching how this new triple neck progresses...

Congratulations Richard - its a beautiful instrument!
I looked at it myself when it was in Hugh's shop and know what an incredibly generous wife you have!! I think this mando previously belonged to Martin Barre of Jethro Tull?

    And here's how it sounds!:
    (sorry about the singing...)

I started a little group for owners of Andy's mandos to post pics and comments on mandolincafe - look under groups and maybe post some pics of your mando there?
    Cheers,

And then some. That is a MAS-inducer if there ever was one. Andy Manson seems to source the most unbelievable woods... and he certainly knows how to use them! I've encountered a number of his instruments over the years, and he really is at the top of his game. Just superb.
