    Default Ricky Skaggs/ E-mando

Just came across this awesome video. Nice little e-mando tele Skaggs is playing there. Love me some Elvis Costello too.

It's a Joe Glaser 5-string. Nice example of what you can do with a string bender. Looks like he switches from guitar during the piano solo.

Great Video. Hearing Ricky Skaggs play quickly became one of the main reasons I wanted an electric mandolin. Had one for a long time now. Still can't play like Ricky.

That is some great playing. I've been a fan of EC and RS, but I never would have imagine them playing together.

That song is also quite thought provoking. It really got me thinking about my vertical position relative to my dehydrated grape.

That video is pretty cool, and it's worthy of mention on the Telecaster Guitar forum.

LOVE that Glasser 5 string and what Seρor Skaggs dioes with it!

I cut the wood for that puppy, and it was one of the most figured chunks of maple I've ever milled....

I think that instrument got ripped off, and is still MIA....

So, since you cut the wood, do you know what kind of pickups are in that little beast? I think I need 'em.

    Sure don't...

I know Joe did a lot of his own pup repair, so he might have whipped that one up...
