Looks like a scam. You can always tell if there is no real description and the english is bad.

This is probably an Eastman employee that took this one apart to see how it was made and then put it back together again. If not, it's a scam. One photo, no information about the mandolin not even what it is.
When you contact seller I bet he offers a buy it now price.
Who in their right mind would buy a vintage Gibson mandolin from someone in China? A slot machine might give you better odds. Surprisingly the seller has no feed back.

Due to current budgetary restrictions the light at the end of the tunnel has been turned off -- sorry about the inconvenience.
I dunno... he might be legit BION. Here is his Photobucket page. The other instruments he is selling are pictured there.
He does have feedback but it is over 1 year old. Who knows? Then again, I am not sending money over there for this mandolin.

The problem I see with his photobucket is all instruments are sitting on different backgrounds. If you got your camera up and going to sell things you likely will have the same backdrop in all photos. Unless you didn't take those photos and stole them. Add to it that most all the instruments don't show the whole instrument coupled with scant non-detailed descriptions , well you get the picture.
He either stole these images or is dumber then dumb to think you can sale on ebay this way. Sure is a pretty F4 whomever owns it.
I contacted the seller and asked what brand, serial #, year and if he had any other photos.
The following was his response.
Dear friend ,
thanks for your email ,,
it is Gibson F4 Mandolin, Serial# 54677
if you receive this email , please response me , I can send you more pictures to look .
thanks ,

The hook, sink and line has been cast. Next will be some unbelieveable price if you buy it now instead of through ebay. Send wire transfer to..........

It's a scam. Here's the original http://www.classicvintageguitars.com/f4/. It's funny how the pictures are identical and so is the serial number. Here's his response. He wants to deal directly.
Hello friend ,

thnaks ,
your friend .
It's been reported to Ebay and the CVG site. Let's see how long it takes them.
Thnaks but no thnaks!
Gorgeous F-4 and OHSC - no wonder the image was purloined.
That's why I had it........Something to drool over! It is very purdy.........
Have to love those shipping prices, too. A Japanese armour (kitchy, definitely not orininal (nor claimed to be), canīt see if itīs even real size or smaller) 20kg, bass saxophone 24kg, mandolin 16 kg (!!), all with packaging materials. Beats me...
