Oh, and I forgot to mention that the Alkali Flats cd doesn't have any Commodium on. The Joy Buzzards does, though, and I think it's a wonderful disk. Soon, Axelrod, Cary and Foss will have something to offer. I do encourage everyone to check us out at www.myspace.com/axelrodcaryandfoss
    Bill's a wonderful mandolin player.

I debated whether I should put this in "post a pic/vid" but figured there's no reason to start a new Commodium thread. Here's one of two vids I slapped together today to give you an idea of how it sounds.

Here's the second. BTW Keith--no sweat on those CDs . I'm planning on giving you a ring soon to chat and maybe figure out a time to hook up in Sacramento.

Axelrod, Cary and Foss just played Mammy's Little Sunny Boy at a rehearsal and we managed to make a quick recording. We make a few mistakes, but the feel is good and you can hear the contrast between the National and the Commodium. I like them both a lot. I'm playing Bill's round National resophonic mandolin, playing the melody in the lower octave. Bill is playing my Commodium with its octave stringing, often playing an octave higher than me and later in the tune doing the improvisation. Meredith Axelrod is playing Bill's Martin 0 guitar. It's the second song on my list at my MySpace site at www.myspace.com/keithcary
