    Default Wilson #005

Just finished my latest two WF-5 builds and thought I'd post some pics. This one is #005. It has an adirondack top with red maple back, sides and neck. The neck is 1 3/16" at the nut and the fb has a 12" radius. The faux frets on the fb extension are done with silver wire and the ph is my version of a torch. It has a Bill James tp, Steve Smith bridge and Gotoh tuners with red sea snail buttons. This is a commission build and the buyer didn't want a pick guard. I am very happy with what seems to be really big Bluegrass tone and volume and am in hopes that the buyer will be even happier.

Hey Craig, great looking mando! I'd love the chance to play one of them when I next get out your way. I'm hoping to make GV in '09.

    Erik
