redirecting

people who are more savvy at navigating the forum than me,

This morning I clicked on a thread on the main site's forum tab and was taken to that thread. In stead of being redirected to the bottom of the thread (ie most recent post) I was redirected to the forum index site.

How do I fix this?

I'm not sure I'm understanding what happened here. If you want to contact me off-line I'll be glad to ask you some questions about which link was clicked that you think didn't do what was expected.
