Default Guitarra Baiana & The Pau Eletrico

I know this has been discussed before, but I love the idea that the Pau Eletrico - a headless electric 4 string tuned in 5ths - existed long before Ned Steinbergers headless guitars.

Interesting stuff; I think the site has been updated since I last looked. It lead me to the Elifas website, and this instrument ...which I now covet.

The idea of a double neck has never grabbed me before, however this instrument looks very, very nice and would be very useful. Imagine a 10 string, 5ths tuned acoustic/electric Bandolim (or call it a Mandola if you want), and a 5 string electric Guitarra Baiana (or electric mandolin/mandola).

Check out the Babado Nova link, which shows a nice? solidbody electric Guitarra Baiana.

Another interesting link to the M.Laghus website, which has gallery pics of a 15" scale length, 5 string electric, called "Little".

Not being a guitarist also, and therefore not very interested in mandolin/guitar double necks, that looks like about the coolest, aside from JPJ's triple neck! I don't speak Portugese - can anyone deduce the prices?
