Any fellow Cafer's going to week one of the British Columbia Bluegrass Workshop near Sorrento, B.C., Canada the week of August 17th-24th? John Reischman is one of the instructors and it looks like quite a line up of other instructors of mandolin as well as other acoustic instruments. This camp sells out early. I enrolled the first day and it took me most of the day to get through to those taking reservations. I am also going to get to finally meet Michael Heiden at his shop after camp. I have been playing one of his Englemann topped A5's for almost two years now and it is off the charts good. It will be for sale as he is going to build me another but with a slightly larger neck profile. His instruments are top-shelf and he is a first class guy.

It's a longass haul from Kansas but I can't wait to absorb some of the mandolin magic of Reischman.

Hope to see some of you there!
