    Default Flattys

Now I know what all you guys are talking about regarding flattys.

I took my yearly pilgrimage down the coast to Buffalo Brothers in Carlsbad. There were two flattys there: a Flatiron and a new Redline Traveler. All I have to say is WOW! I was completely taken aback by the sound quality and loudness of those two instruments. Prior to my trip today I kinda said to myself; yeah yeah they can't be as good as people say. I was wrong. If I didn't already have more mandos than I need, my sights would definately be set on a flatty.

I love my Spira. They have different voices from bluegrass boxes for sure but they have a voice I appreciate.
