Anyone know of any good jams in Brmingham AL? I will be there for a training conference July 21-28. I was wonering if anyone wanted to jam some. You can check out some clips on myspace. I play in a band called Just Us Bluegrass Band or put that in a search and check out our website. If anyone wants to cook dinner for me that would be cool too. lol.

Albert--there is a well-known bluegrass instrument shop down there. I can't recall the name but it should be easy to find. Surely they can put you on a jam.

You are right Crowder...It's called "Fretted Instruments" and they are located at 2906 Linden Ave in Homweood, Al. The phone number is 205-879-6489. Herb Trottman is the owner and he has more stuff in that little store than you can imagine and always some high end Mandolins and Guitars. He is also an authorized Martin Dealer. You can get a jam started (if there isn't one going on already) at the drop of a hat. If you go to my YouTube page there is a video called Martin Day that shows the store.
