The birch part may be correct (or birch plywood). I am no expert on Strad-o-lins but this does NOT look the part to me.

The one photo visible today is so poor that it is impossible to tell. If it was a Strad-O-Lin and in decent condition it went for a pretty low price. Normally they can fetch $300 in decent cosmetic condition.
