Unbelievable! I'm actually getting to go away from Texas for a week's vacation. Headed for Stuart, Florida with my kids, and aside from a trip to the Magic Kingdom and hanging out at the beach, there is not a thing scheduled.

Any jams going on? Recommendations on where to hang out or grab some decent chow?

Also, one leg of this trip is on an Embraer lawn dart/Barbi jet. Am I going to have any trouble carrying my mandolin onto it?

    Much obliged,

    Hi,

About an hour drive north in Vero Beach, at the community center on 14th Ave. downtown, there is a free Bluegrass concert every tuesday from 7:30 to 9:30 pm. There are usually 6 to 8 musicians, playing mostly tradiitonal favorites. The venue is air conditioned which is much appreciated in the summer in Florida.

There is a tip jar to help offset the rent on the community center.

    Regards, Lee Oliver
